AdoptiVE PARENT SUPPORT
Opening your heart and home to a child through adoption is a beautiful, life-changing calling—and it can also feel overwhelming at first. You probably have questions. You may not know where to begin. That’s where Hands of Hope comes in.
Hands of Hope is not a licensing or placing agency. We do not complete home studies or place children in homes. Instead, we come alongside you at the very beginning of your journey. We provide informational meetings, clear first steps, trusted resources, and personal guidance to help you understand your options and connect with the right agencies and next steps.
Whether you are exploring adoption or simply feeling a nudge to learn more, we are here to walk with you. Our heart is to equip and encourage families so that every child can experience a safe, loving, and supportive home.
Adoption and Foster Care Information Meeting
Our Adoption and Foster Care Information Meetings are held virtually the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm (with the exception of May and December). Hands of Hope is not an agency so we are able to provide unbiased support and resources. These are a great first step in gathering information on domestic adoption, international adoption, foster care, and the Indiana Adoption Program.
Adoption Resources
There are many community resources available to you. These include conferences, educational resources, trauma support, and more. Browse for resources that would best serve you and your adopted child.
Grants and Loans
Hands of Hope believes the best place for any child is in a family. Recognizing that finances can be a barrier Hands of Hope seeks to help families living in Indiana overcome that barrier through matching grants and interest free loans.
