Mission

Our mission is to uniquely and deeply love orphans at home and around the world. We place a high value on going deep to change the trajectory of a child's life. We educate on God's heart for orphans and vulnerable children, motivate individuals to get involved, and support those who do. 100% of funds donated to projects and child sponsorships go directly to help children.

Key Values

Go Deep

Relationships matter. We want to change the trajectory of kids' lives.

Seek Unity

Everyone can do something. There are powerful possibilities when we all work together. We utilize key volunteers and value all our volunteers.

Strive for Excellence

Do one thing well, then add more. Respond in a timely way to honor others.

Our Why

Hands of Hope Adoption and Orphan Care Ministry was founded in 2007 by Mary Coombs and Suzy Roth based on their personal experiences visiting orphanages and adopting children. In 2010 it became a 501c3 non-profit corporation. There has always been a high value placed on utilizing volunteers in key leadership roles. In July 2012 the first part time employee was hired and the first full time employee was in 2016. We believe God's heart beats for these vulnerable children.

  • Orphans and widows are mentioned more than 60 times in the Bible.
  • The number of orphans has grown exponentially over the last 17 years from 15 million in 1990 to 143 million in 2007.
  • 80% of new orphans can be directly attributed to the spread of AIDS.
  • 90% of orphaned children are not adoptable, but 100% are "careable."

Our Impact

With God's help, in 2019 Hands of Hope impacted the lives of over 2800 children in foster care, over 180 children internationally, as well as many adoptive families.
