What is the Every Child Symposium?

Every Child is a one-day conference designed to inspire the faith community in Indiana to answer God’s call to care for vulnerable children. It is a day full of inspiration, equipping, and practical ideas so that EVERYONE can do SOMETHING to make a difference in the lives of children in need in our communities. Our God-sized goal is that every child in Indiana is loved & supported.

Where is the Every Child Symposium?

The 2023 Symposium location will be determined soon.

When is the Every Child Symposium?

In 2023, the Every Child Symposium will be on Saturday March 11 from 9 am – 3 pm.

Who is this conference best suited for?

Every Child is for anyone desiring to make a difference in the lives of at-risk children. It is for anyone exploring what it would look like to get involved, church leaders & pastors, teachers, counselors, child advocates, foster and adoptive parents, Safe Families host parents, and kinship providers.

I’m not a foster or adoptive parent. Why should I attend?

While there will be sessions geared toward foster and adoptive parents, there will also be sessions specifically designed for church ministry leaders, volunteers and those exploring ways to be involved other than hosting a child in their home.

Is training credit available for foster parents?

Yes. A certificate of training hours can be provided for anyone who requests it a registration. In order to receive a certificate, each person must register separately and complete the survey at the end of the day.

Is there childcare available?

Childcare is not provided. While we love kids, we encourage you to find a babysitter in order to take advantage of the opportunity to learn and relax during the symposium.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

We will refund your registration cost up to two weeks prior to the event. After that, we are no longer able to offer refunds. You are, however, welcome to gift your registration to someone else. If you would like to do this, please contact info@everychildin.org.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes! We also offer an Early Bird discount until February 1, 2023.

Will lunch be provided? What if I have dietary restrictions?

Since the event is virtual this year, lunch will be on your own during the break.

Can I volunteer to help?

Yes! For more information, please contact info@everychildin.org.

Can I be a sponsor?

Please note: Although promotion of books and resources in support of vulnerable children and families is encouraged, no sales are permitted, with the exception of keynote speakers.
