When Valeriy came to live at Romaniv he was physically unable to walk. Despite having limited mobility, however, Valeriy made sure to always be the first boy crawling through the doorway to attend Bible study or play games. His passion for independent movement grew so intense that one day, he began attempting to walk without any assistance from others. As time progressed, Valeriy grew more and more mobile and today, miraculously, he is able to walk around with ease and can participate in all the events at Romaniv.
