Peanut Butter and Hula Skirts

Hands of Hope Blog

There’s something about a good old-fashioned picnic in the park.
Foods taste better, the ground hugs you like a giant body pillow…

Okay, well maybe it’s not that soft, but it’s nice for a little while anyways.

And the hustle and bustle of life seems to disappear – you can breathe again.

I know, I’m getting all mushy over eating stale PB&Js in the dirt, but here’s the deal, the annual Hands of Hope picnic is just around the corner (like this Sunday around the corner) and you need to get in on this deliciously awesome piece of picnic pie.

So here’s the scoop:

Luau at the Park

Sunday, June 2nd – 5:00 PM

We’d love for you and your family to join us!

Hands of Hope will be hosting our annual Picnic on Sunday, June 2nd 5:00 PM at River Heritage Park in Carmel. Join us as we celebrate the gift of adoption and all that is being done for orphan care!

The celebration will feature:
•Food
•Cotton candy
•Games (like Treasure Hunt in the “Sand”)
•Face painting
•Family Pictures by a professional photographer, if interested

This year we are going to get a picture of all the children, then just the adopted children…we hope this will be a small picture of the diversity of heaven! This will be taken BEFORE dinner so please try to arrive close to on time if possible.

Please bring drinks for your family and item below. Hands of Hope will provide the rest!
