Perhaps the scene depicted in Tuesday’s post sounded too far-fetched. Could one measly box of cereal really cause such anxiety? The unfortunate truth is that this scenario is the daily reality for one in every seven people. In fact, more people die from hunger each year than AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined.

In just a few short weeks, we will be teaming up with Kids Against Hunger of Central Indiana for their Million Meal Marathon and would love for you to join us!
Through this single two-hour event, Hands of Hope and other volunteers will put together approximately 225,000 highly nutritious, life-saving meals! AND thanks to our partnership with Grace Community Church and Kids Against Hunger, along with all of the Hands of Hope volunteer help, Hands of Hope will be able to distribute a total of over 400,000 meals to our partner orphanages in Honduras, Ukraine, and Indiana
