Every Child Symposium 2019

Hands of Hope Blog

This year's annual Every Child Symposium was an incredible experience! On March 16th, over 400 of you gathered together to connect, learn, and engage in practical steps that make a big difference in the lives of vulnerable children throughout our community. It is an overwhelmingly powerful thing to see so many individuals, families, churches, and organizations come together to strive for a better future for children in Indiana.

One Foster Mom shared her experience with us, "I am always impressed at how the Main Sessions set the tone for inspiration, motivation, and encouragement that make me thirsty to be a better mom, Foster Mom, and person in general. I just LOVE THEM. Next year I am going to invite anyone I know who has a heart for fostering, because this Symposium will make the difference in their choice to serve or not. I ALWAYS go away feeling very lucky and thankful to be Foster Mom and it sustains me before getting weighed down again by the reality of fostering. Thank you so much for putting on such a wonderful, professional, and helpful Symposium. I will be here again next year!"

A couple who attended the event said, "Every Child served as affirmation of our pursuit of becoming foster parents and encouragement to keep going through the difficult process of becoming licensed. For every moment of hard truth, there was hope. For every moment of darkness, there was a glimpse of light. The combination of valuable information and authentic stories made Every Child a completely worthwhile way to spend a Saturday. We're already looking forward to next year!'

We love to hear stories of impact just like this! Did you or someone you know attend Every Child this year? Reach out to us to tell your story!
