What do I do if I respond to a request and don’t hear from the caseworker?
First, give them 48 hours to respond. Then, try reaching out using the email address provided in the email you received when you responded to the request. If you still don’t hear back, reach out to your CarePortal Regional Manager.
What do I do if the caseworker asks me to bring them the items instead of connecting directly with the family?

What if the family asks me for more than what the request was for?
There is no expectation or pressure to meet additional needs. If you feel led and you or your church has the resources, you are welcome to meet the need. You can let your CarePortal Regional Manager know and even have it added to the request to accurately capture the impact. It is also completely appropriate to direct them back to their caseworker for assistance with additional resources.
