Examples of things you could say yes to:
- Coming inside, food and/or drink
- Sitting down for a bit
- Reading a story to or playing with a child who asks you to do so
- Making plans in the future
- Looking at something (like a picture, a project, or a problem)
Reflection
Take a moment and think about a time where you felt personal shame. If someone were to tell this story, how would you want them to represent you? What would you want them to highlight? What would you want them to avoid?
