Romaniv Sponsorship Update
Our Wonderful Romaniv Sponsors,
Thank you for investing in the lives of the boys at Romaniv. We are grateful for your kindness and generosity and wanted to take the time to send you an update.
We cannot thank you enough for your sponsorship! Currently about 40 percent of the boys are sponsored. We are so thankful for this, and desire that all of the boys have a family praying for, and supporting them. Please join us in praying that more boys will be sponsored soon.
A new teacher, Lesya has been hired to work with the boys and bring the joy of music into their lives. Lesya specializes in music education and comes regularly to engage the boys in musical activities. She has been hired with the aid of sponsor money, which we are so grateful for! Please join us in praying that she will be able to bond with and understand the boys needs.
We continue to pray for the political unrest that continues to make world-wide news. The situation changes daily and we pray God's sovereign will over the country and its people. For those individuals we know by name, we know that fear and anxiety are difficult to battle in these times. Please pray for God's peace and comfort.
Please pray for a new boy at the orphanage who is having a very difficult transition to life there. He is causing difficulties in the life of that community. Please pray for his transition, and that the staff quickly learns how to best help him and love him.
As Romaniv is a state run orphanage, please pray for a continuation in financial support so the most vulnerable to do not suffer the consequences of the political turmoil.
Please pray for wisdom for teachers, Angela and Oksana as they teach the boys life skills.
Pray for the funding support for the new building on the property that needs to be finished. Currently the boys live almost exclusively in one small dorm-like building which itself is in need of repairs. An additional multipurpose building has been started that will provide much needed living space, classroom space, and updated shower and bathroom facilities.
Pray for the health of the boys. With the difficult cold winter, and cramped living quarters, diseases spread quickly. At one point the orphanage was in quarantine and Mission to Ukraine was unable to go and minister there until the health issue resolved.
Pray for our dedicated staff member and friend from Mission to Ukraine who works with the boys every week, Natasha. Pray for new opportunities for her to communicate God's love and compassion to them. Pray for her personal walk with The Lord that He continues to sustain and provide during these hard times,
Thank you for investing in the lives of the boys at Romaniv. We are grateful for you!
