Church Network 2018

Join Network

You are invited to join a movement of churches across Indiana serving as a unified body of Christ having significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children!  Want to make a difference but don't know where to begin or don't have time to create something? Engaged but can benefit from encouragement, consulting, and networking with others?Need or have resources to share? 40% increase in the number of foster children in Marion County, Indiana in the past year. 50% of foster parents quit after the first placement because they did not feel properly supported. It is time for us to come together so that there will be MORE THAN ENOUGH in Indiana. More than enough foster families, more than enough adoptive families, more than enough support for foster, adoptive, and biological families. There are powerful possibilities when we all work together. Will you join us? Sign up below for further conversation.

What is the Hands of Hope Church Network?

It is a relationship with Hands of Hope and other churches providing:
Consulting help on establishing or running your church orphan care ministry
Training for church staff and/or lay leaders
Shared Resources
Networking among churches as well as bridge to Department of Child Services & Licensed Child Placing Agencies
Practical opportunities for engaging volunteers
Critical Components:
County Liaisons: Our goal is to have a county liason in every county in Indiana to best support foster families, DCS, & LCPAs.
County Liaisons are a strong resource for church advocates as well as current and prospective foster parents. Interested? Sign up for more information.
Contribution: We ask each church to contribute monetarily in whatever capacity they can so consulting, training, and other services can be offered.
Church Advocates: Each church has a Church Advocate. Hands of Hope consults with the Church Advocate to provide consulting, training, resources, and networking that will most benefit your church, as well as learn of resources   which can be shared with others.
Care Communities: The Care Community model is a church based model providing support for foster families. This is a critical need. God is raising up the church to make a difference!
