Eduardo’s Story

My mother abandoned my siblings and me during a big storm that lasted 8 days. The police evacuated us. We were taken to a school where we slept on the floor. Our mother never came for us. After the storm, we didn’t have anywhere to go, so we wandered the streets and asked people for money or food. Someone called the police who took me, my younger brothers and sister to the Children Protection Home and later to Exodo. When we came to Exodo, we very thin and had parasites. They took us to the doctor. Now, we are eating well and have medicine and vitamins.
I like living in Exodo Home because everybody loves me! They carry me and say I am the baby boy of Exodo.
