Adoptive Family Support

Learn, Be Cared For, Share

Adoption is a blessing, but can also be a challenge.  There are opportunities to learn from experts, be cared for, and simply share with others who are going through the same experiences.  We've put a few of these below!

Learn from Experts

  • The Connection - Where Hearts Meet: Designed to help you and your child build a lasting, loving connection by equipping you with practical help based on biblical truths and research-based interventions.  Hosted by Bethany Christian Services, 15 weeks every other Tuesday starting March 26th.  Register by email.
  • Christian for Alliance for Orphans Summit 9: A wealth of information on all aspects of adoption, fostering, and orphan care.  Held May 2-3 in Nashville, TN.  Early registration ends March 31st.

Be Cared For

  • Created for Care Retreat: Come be pampered, cared for, and loved!  2014 dates coming April 1st.  This fills up quickly so you need to register soon after registration begins in August.
  • Reaching Hearts with Hope Retreat: Come be welcomed, encouraged, equipped, and poured into.  September 6th-8th in Carlinville, IL.  Registration begins March 15th.

Share with Others

  • Hands of Hope Annual Picnic: Bring your whole family and enjoy a time sharing with other adoptive families and those with a heart for orphans.  Mark your calendars for June 2nd, 5:00pm at Brooks School Park in Fishers.  Look for more information soon!
  • Adoptive Moms Night: An informal evening to talk with other adoptive moms.  Held the 3rd Tuesday of every other month.  The next one is Tuesday, March 19th 7:00pm at Hearthstone Coffee House in Fishers.  No need to RSVP, just show up!
