Pay a Blessing Forward

It was in the mid 50s as my husband, Elliott, and I walked into a meeting at church this past Saturday morning and when we left, no more than three hours later, the temperature had dropped twenty degrees...

TWENTY degrees! Seriously?!

I don't know about you, but I am officially over this winter weather.

Walking out to the car, I was hugging my spring jacket ever closer, whining to Elliott about how I should have worn my heavier winter coat. Just as I reached out to grab the car door handle though, conviction reached out and took a hold of me. Here I was complaining about not having the "right" coat when thousands of people around the world would have been overjoyed to have just one sleeve of my "inadequate" jacket.

It's ridiculous how quick I am to forget the blessings of God.

That's why I've decided to participate in the Hands of Hope supply drive this month. It happens twice a year, once in March and then again in September, and the list of simple, but oh-so-necessary items is posted here.
The collection bin is located in town square at Grace Community Church in Noblesville or you can email us at info@gracehandsofhope.org to arrange pick-up - Talk about God offering a convenient way to serve Him! :)

In Philippians 4:19 it says, "My God will meet all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
The simple event from the weekend brought that truth to life for me again. He really does meet every need... and I can pay that amazing gift forward.
