We are all about celebrating children and families, and in particular children and their adoptive families. At our home church, Grace Community Church, there are 12 different countries, including the good ‘ol USA , where parents have been led by God to their adopted children. We celebrated that diversity in February of this year at our 2nd annual Hands of Hope Multicultural Night. This dinner celebration included food from the countries of our church families’ adopted children. Culinary selections ranged from sloppy joes to borscht to Chinese dumplings. Following dinner a visit from Silly Safaris provided the children an opportunity to interactively learn about animals from all over the world. A fun time was had by all!
Hands of Hope Annual Picnic
Hands of Hope hosted it's 3rd annual Hands of Hope picnic on June 5th at Holland Park in Fishers. The event is to celebrate the ministry year, celebrate the children who have been adopted and to continue to raise awareness for our ministry and God's calling. We also thank our many volunteers who help make up Hands of Hope. This year the Fishers fire department brought several fire trucks to Holland Park for the kids to play on and learn about all the equipment that is used. In addition, the kids participated in different challenges including a guys against girls tug-o-war.
