Exactly one month ago today, a team from Hands of Hope joined forces with hundreds of other volunteers from around the state for the 2nd Annual Million Meal Marathon sponsored by Kids Against Hunger (KAH) of Central Indiana. Because of the enormous collaboration, 903,788 highly nutritious meals were packed to be distributed to poverty-stricken areas in Haiti, Africa, and the Ukraine. In addition, a portion of the meals were distributed through Gleaners, Midwest Food Bank and Second Harvest to benefit those in need locally.
